Audi E7X: Intelligent Air Suspension with Predictive Damping based on ZF CDC
The Audi E7X features an all-aluminium air suspension system combined with ZF Continuous Damping Control (CDC) adaptive damping.
A key feature is the vehicle’s suspension preview function, which connects its intelligent driving perception system with chassis control. The system can identify road conditions ahead and proactively adjust suspension height and damping in real time.
The E7X is equipped with 28 perception sensors, including LiDAR, which provide the data required by its intelligent driving and vehicle-control systems.
The combination of air suspension and adaptive damping is designed to allow the E7X to respond to changing road conditions while maintaining control of the vehicle’s body and suspension behaviour.
The article identifies the intelligent chassis technology as one of the E7X’s key technical features. The vehicle is built on a 900V high-voltage platform and offers a maximum CLTC range of 751 km.
The E7X is available in five variants, with prices ranging from RMB 269,800 to RMB 359,800.
