The JAECOO J8 features **Continuous Damping Control (CDC) active suspension**, which adjusts the dampers in real time according to road conditions.

The CDC system uses **body acceleration sensors and a CDC control unit to adjust suspension stiffness**. The system continuously analyses road conditions and adapts the suspension accordingly.

When driving on winding roads, the suspension **firms up to keep the vehicle stable and planted**. When the vehicle encounters a pothole, the system **softens the suspension to absorb the impact**.

According to JAECOO, the CDC suspension is designed not only to improve comfort but also to maintain **optimal tyre contact with the road surface**. This contributes to traction, handling and safety.

The J8 combines CDC with **Dynamic Torque Vectoring**, which uses two clutches to distribute torque independently between the rear wheels. The article describes the two technologies as part of the J8's AWD system, designed to respond to changing road and terrain conditions.

The JAECOO J8 AWD is a three-row, six-seater SUV powered by a **2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine**.
