CIJAN Expands Global Cooperation with Stellantis

CIJAN began collaborating with DPCA, the Dongfeng-PSA joint venture, in 2006, supplying shock absorbers for the Peugeot 206. The cooperation subsequently expanded to additional Peugeot and Citroën models, and CIJAN became a main shock absorber supplier to DPCA in the Chinese market.

In 2021, CIJAN began technical exchanges and product validation with Stellantis’ overseas team for international vehicle programmes. After a temporary suspension caused by high global ocean freight costs in 2022, the project resumed.

In July 2023, CIJAN secured a position on Stellantis’ CMP platform, with mass production planned for 2024. The shock absorbers are to be assembled at Stellantis factories in Spain, Morocco and France, covering models including the Peugeot 208, Peugeot 2008, Opel Corsa and Lancia, with both internal-combustion and electric versions.

CIJAN states that it obtained several major Stellantis projects during 2024, describing the developments as a new stage in its overseas business.
